One of the world,s tallest ships, the Cuauhtemoc, is in Dublin for a five say visit. It,s a Navy training vessel. What a beauty! It was open to the public so I went to take a look. I was tole it’s on a world. Mexico holds Ireland in high esteem because the Irish fought along side of them during the Mexican American war. The Irish battalion was called the San Patricios. It was a beautiful day and the flag was in its glory! We had access to much of the ship but not the kitchen. Whatever they were cooking in there sure smelled good! I also learned about the diving bell designed by Dublin port engineer Bindon Blood Stoney (what a great name) which made the River Liffey a deep water port. Fun day!
